Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy and YBNL CEO, Olamide Adedeji, have settled their rift and issued a joint apology.
Don Jazzy & Olamide both shared the photos on their respective Instagram pages and wrote “We are very Sorry for the wahala make una no vex oh. It is our responsibility to lead but then again we are only human and we all make mistakes! #WeAreSorryHeadies #WeAreSorryFans #PeaceAndUnity”
It can be recalled that the quarrel started after Reekado Banks, Don Jazzy’s protege and artiste was announced the winner of the ‘Next Rated Award’ at the Headies stage show.
Olamide felt it should have gone to his YBLN label’s act, Lil’ Kesh. Olamide then mounted the stage, took the microphone and cursed using swear words, dropped the microphone on the floor and later stormed out of the venue cursing and disrupting proceedings.
Don Jazzy was later called upon to receive an award and he calmly replied Olamide, telling him to “. . . come and collect the car” which was the award price to Reekado.
Olamide later apologized to his fans for his misbehavior at the Headies.
