The show made Ebuka (his 1st name, made popular by BBN fans) a successful television personality in Nigeria and Africa. Ebuka is set to host Big Brother Nigeria in the 2017 season.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu (full name) is going to host the show that thrust him, just a young lawyer at the time, into the spotlight in 2006.
Since his time in the Big Brother house, he has gone on to host shows on different networks including Rubbin’ Minds on Channels TV and The Spot on EbonyLife TV.
The Big Brother Naija reality show by MultiChoice Nigeria will be back on the screens on Sunday January 22nd with a live 2 hour premiere to kick off the second edition of the Nigerian version.
The winner takes all – 25 million Naira and a brand new Kia Sorento.

In 2006, Ebuka went in as one of an eventual 14 housemates on the first and only ever season of the popular reality TV show Big Brother Nigeria. Although the 6 ft, 2in housemate finished in 8th place, Obi-Uchendu became popular due to his affable and easygoing nature and viewers created numerous fan sites. To date, he is one of the most visibly successful BBN cast members.
